Māori Language Week

This week, Hīnau have had a great time during Māori Language. In class, we did activities that taught us about language and telling people about us.

On Tuesday we all went and did a rotation that had us doing Māori craft, games or waiata. We had lots of fun.

Here is some of the things we did below.

Kōrari buddy class writing sharing!

Last Friday we spent time with our buddy class (Rm 7,8,9). We read each others writing and gave each other feedback. 

Then we sang some of our favourite assembly songs!

Pūtere R16/17 Maori Language Week 2018

What a tau kē week Pūtere students had during Te Wiki O Te Reo Maori! We had fun learning some new words, playing new games and showing tuakana teina with our younger buddies.
